Coolie (2025), directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is a Tamil-action thriller starring Rajinikanth as Devaraj “Deva,” a former labor/coolie union leader who trades activism for running a modest boarding house in Chennai. Alongside Rajasekhar’s daughter Preethi, Deva unravels conspiracies, confronts his own past, and wages war against powerful criminals, leading to confrontations that test both his moral convictions and his strength.
