At eight years old, Irene witnesses her father's death in a hit-and-run accident. The traumatic event leaves her unable to recall the driver's face, instilling a deep sense of guilt and a relentless desire for justice. As she grows into a rebellious teenager, Irene becomes fixated on uncovering the truth.
Her quest leads her to a factory owned by Michele, the man responsible for her father's death. Unaware of his identity, Irene begins working there, while Michele, recognizing her, feels an unexpected protective instinct that evolves into affection.
