The story opens in 1920s Srikakulam, where a Telugu-speaking tribal community faces a devastating massacre by the British. A prophesied savior from this tribe remains unknown as survivors flee to an island near Sri Lanka.
Fast forward to 1991—Surya ("Suri"), portrayed by Vijay Deverakonda, is a determined but troubled police constable searching for his estranged elder brother, Siva. Suri is recruited for a covert mission by his spy handler JP, which takes him to a fortified prison on an island controlled by a powerful smuggling syndicate.
