Thiru (Vijay Sethupathi) is a small-time thief with a hearing impairment, living in Tenkasi. He partners with his young sidekick, Super (played by Vijay Sethupathi's real-life son, Surya), engaging in petty thefts. Thiru's life takes a turn when he meets Venba (Anjali), a spirited woman visiting from Malaysia. Despite initial resistance, Venba reciprocates Thiru's affection, and they marry just before her return to Malaysia.
Shortly after, Thiru receives a distressing call from Venba, revealing that her uncle has sold her into the skin trade. Determined to rescue her, Thiru and Super obtain fake passports and travel to Thailand. Their journey leads them into conflict with Ling, a gangster involved in the skin trade. Thiru navigates various challenges, including confrontations with criminals and law enforcement, ultimately rescuing Venba and other victims. They return home, reuniting with their family.
