Set in contemporary India, Loveyapa follows the story of Baani Sharma (Khushi Kapoor) and Gaurav "Gucci" Sachdeva (Junaid Khan), a young couple deeply in love and inseparable from their smartphones. Their relationship faces a unique challenge when Baani's traditional father, Atul Kumar Sharma (Ashutosh Rana), imposes a condition before consenting to their marriage: the couple must exchange their unlocked phones for 24 hours.
Confident in their trust, Baani and Gaurav agree to the swap, only to uncover unexpected secrets. Baani discovers flirtatious messages on Gaurav's phone, while Gaurav learns about Baani's past relationships and some questionable online interactions. The situation escalates when a deepfake video of Baani circulates, leading to familial discord. Eventually, the truth behind the video is revealed, and the couple reconciles, reaffirming their love and trust.
