Years prior, Gao's struggle with anger management led to a car accident that blinded his young daughter, Xiaojun (Zhang Zifeng), and caused the dissolution of his marriage to Fu Yuan (Liu Tao). Seeking redemption, Gao rebuilds his life and secures a position with Hangyu Airlines. On the inaugural flight of the airline's Airbus A380, Gao unexpectedly encounters his estranged ex-wife and daughter among the passengers.
The flight takes a perilous turn when twelve hijackers, led by the volatile Mike (Qu Chuxiao), seize control of the aircraft, holding over 800 passengers hostage at an altitude exceeding 10,000 feet. As chaos ensues, Gao leverages his expertise to combat the hijackers, receiving covert assistance from his blind daughter, who uses her heightened observational skills to aid him. The ordeal culminates in a dramatic emergency landing, with the hijackers neutralized and the passengers rescued.
