Deva (2025) is a Hindi-language action thriller directed by Rosshan Andrrews, starring Shahid Kapoor as Dev Ambre, a rebellious police officer. The film is a remake of the 2013 Malayalam film Mumbai Police, with a modified climax.
Dev Ambre, known for his volatile nature, is investigating the murder of his close friend and fellow officer, ACP Rohan D'Silva. Just as he uncovers a significant lead, Dev suffers a car accident resulting in partial amnesia. With no recollection of his past, he must reinvestigate the case, piecing together clues and confronting unsettling truths about himself.
