"Sarfira" is a high-octane action thriller that delves into the world of vengeance, redemption, and the moral consequences of a life filled with violence. The film follows Vikrant, a man with a mysterious past, who embarks on a relentless journey of revenge against a powerful crime syndicate. As the story unfolds, Vikrant must confront the fine line between justice and revenge, as well as the personal sacrifices that come with seeking retribution.
The story begins in the bustling metropolis of Mumbai, where Vikrant Kapoor (played by Vicky Kaushal), a former military operative, lives a quiet life working as a security consultant. Vikrant has been hiding from his past, haunted by the traumatic memories of a violent incident that led to the loss of his family several years ago. His wife and daughter were brutally killed in a targeted attack, orchestrated by a notorious crime lord, Raghav Rao (played by Manoj Bajpayee), who controls a vast criminal empire.
Vikrant’s life is turned upside down when he receives a mysterious letter, revealing that Raghav Rao is still alive and has continued his criminal operations with even more power. The letter also hints that there is more to the story of Vikrant’s family’s murder than he originally believed. Fuelled by a desire for vengeance, Vikrant decides to confront the truth and take down Raghav’s syndicate once and for all.
