Crime 101 is a stylish Los Angeles-set heist drama about a highly disciplined jewel thief named Mike Davis (played by Chris Hemsworth) who has been pulling off a series of sophisticated daytime robberies along California’s Highway 101, always sticking to a strict code to avoid violence and evidence. When Mike eyes the biggest score of his career and plans one last big job, his path unexpectedly intersects with Sharon (Halle Berry), a disillusioned insurance broker facing crossroads in her own life, and their uneasy alliance becomes central to the plot. Meanwhile, LAPD Detective Lou Lubesnick (Mark Ruffalo) becomes obsessed with connecting the string of unsolved robberies to a single culprit and closes in as tensions rise.
