Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close follows Oskar Schell, a brilliant but emotionally fragile young boy who loses his father in the 9/11 World Trade Center attacks. Struggling with grief, Oskar finds a mysterious key among his father's belongings and becomes convinced it leads to a final message meant for him.
