Ghost Project (2023) is a horror-sci-fi film in which three young programmers discover an abandoned piece of technology originally designed to detect supernatural presences. Intrigued, they reverse engineer the device to build a mobile app that allows users to see ghosts. At first their experiment seems exciting, but soon they realize that seeing ghosts comes with peril: the spirits they expose aren’t always benign, and meddling with the invisible world drags them into danger. The film builds tension through supernatural threats, psychological horror, and the consequences of using technology to pierce a veil better left untouched.
