The story begins with eight-year-old Anbu, bored at home and isolated amid his parents' bustling lives. During his school holidays, a spontaneous request for a bike ride drags his exhausted father, Gokul, into a road trip across Tamil Nadu and Kerala.

Their unplanned journey unfolds into a series of gentle adventures—meeting strangers, devouring local treats, discovering sunlit fields, and sharing musical interludes.
