Set in the early 1990s in the fictional Telugu village Chitti Jayapuram, the film follows Apoorva (Keerthy Suresh), who reluctantly assumes the position of village head after her father’s death. Her first major challenge arises when Chinna (Suhas), the village graveyard caretaker struggling with his mother’s final wish, reveals that only four slots remain for burials. The resulting panic and underlying socio‑political tensions set off a series of comedic and satirical events. Eventually, Apoorva and Chinna work together to find an unusual yet community‑centered solution to the crisis—often in ways that challenge rigid traditions.
