A former Formula 1 driver, Sonny Hayes (played by Brad Pitt), comes out of retirement to join the fictional APXGP team — the worst team on the grid. His goal: mentor a young rookie driver, Joshua Pearce (played by Damson Idris), and help turn the team’s fortunes around while proving he still has what it takes to compete against the world’s best.
Set against real Grand Prix events with actual F1 cars, the story blends high-octane racing, behind-the-scenes paddock drama, and a redemption arc for a driver seeking one last shot at glory in the world’s fastest and most dangerous motorsport.
