Max (2024) is a Kannada-language action thriller directed by debutant Vijay Karthikeyaa and produced by Kichcha Sudeep under Kichcha Creations. The film stars Sudeep in the titular role of Inspector Arjun Mahakshay, also known as Max.
The story follows Max, a fearless and notorious police officer returning from a two-month suspension. On the eve of his reinstatement, he arrests two high-profile youngsters for misbehaving with women and brings them to his station. However, the situation escalates when the two suspects die in his custody, leading to chaos as their associates launch an attack on Max and his team. Max finds himself at the heart of a conspiracy involving gangsters, politicians, and even his own colleagues, transforming the police station into a battleground. He must navigate this storm of violence and betrayal to protect his colleagues and restore order.
