Initially, the children struggle to get along. Their dynamics shift when they discover a magical creature on the beach called Psammead, or the Sand Fairy, voiced by Michael Caine. Psammead has the power to grant one wish per day, but each wish
As the children experiment with their wishes—ranging from flying to time travel—they encounter various adventures and challenges. Their journey takes a perilous turn when they meet Tristan Trent III (Russell Brand), a man obsessed with capturing Psammead for his own selfish desires. The children must band together to protect their magical friend and learn valuable lessons about family, cooperation, and the true meaning of happiness.
