The Boys Season 1

Hughie Campbell’s Revenge: Hughie Campbell's life is shattered when his girlfriend, Robin, is accidentally killed by A-Train, a speedster member of The Seven. Traumatized and seeking justice, Hughie is recruited by Billy Butcher, the leader of The Boys, who harbors a personal vendetta against superheroes, particularly Homelander, the leader of The Seven.

The Boys Assemble: Billy Butcher, along with Hughie, Frenchie, and Mother's Milk, forms a team dedicated to exposing the corruption of Vought International, the corporation that manages The Seven. They discover the existence of a drug called Compound V, which is used to create superheroes, revealing that "supes" are not born but made.
The Seven’s Corruption: The Seven, while publicly adored, are shown to be corrupt and morally bankrupt. Homelander, the most powerful and feared member, is a ruthless and unstable figure who manipulates those around him. Other members, like Queen Maeve and The Deep, struggle with their own moral dilemmas and the pressures of maintaining their public image.

Starlight’s Struggle: Annie January, known as Starlight, joins The Seven with hopes of being a true hero. However, she quickly becomes disillusioned by the toxic environment and the immoral behavior of her teammates. She forms a bond with Hughie, unaware of his involvement with The Boys.

The Mystery of Becca Butcher: Billy Butcher’s vendetta against Homelander is personal, driven by the belief that Homelander raped his wife, Becca, who subsequently disappeared. This mystery drives much of Butcher's motivation throughout the season.
