"Pathaan" is a high-octane espionage thriller that follows the story of an exiled secret agent, Pathaan (played by Shah Rukh Khan), who is called back to duty for a mission that could determine the fate of the nation. With a blend of intense action, intrigue, and emotional depth, the film showcases a relentless pursuit of justice against the backdrop of global terrorism.
The film opens with Pathaan, a former elite agent of India's covert operations unit, living a solitary life in a remote mountainous region after being disgraced and forced into exile. The Indian intelligence agency, RAW, uncovers a deadly plot orchestrated by an international terrorist organization led by Jim (played by John Abraham), a rogue operative with a personal vendetta against India.
As the clock ticks down to a catastrophic attack, RAW enlists Pathaan, knowing only he has the skills and experience to take on the mission. Reluctant at first, Pathaan is drawn back into the fold by Rubina Mohsin (played by Deepika Padukone), a fearless and determined fellow agent with her own reasons for wanting to stop Jim.
