Breaking Bad (2008) is an American television series created by Vince Gilligan, widely regarded as one of the greatest TV shows of all time. The series follows the transformation of Walter White (played by Bryan Cranston), a high school chemistry teacher turned methamphetamine manufacturer, as he becomes increasingly entangled in the criminal underworld.
The story begins with Walter White, a mild-mannered and financially struggling high school chemistry teacher in Albuquerque, New Mexico. At the age of 50, Walter is diagnosed with terminal lung cancer, and faced with the prospect of leaving his family in financial ruin, he decides to use his chemistry expertise to manufacture and sell high-quality methamphetamine. Walter partners with a former student, Jesse Pinkman (played by Aaron Paul), to enter the drug trade.
As Walter adopts the alias "Heisenberg," his descent into the criminal world begins. Initially motivated by the desire to provide for his family, he soon becomes addicted to the power, wealth, and danger that his new life brings. Over time, his actions lead to a series of increasingly morally ambiguous decisions that jeopardize his relationships with his family, friends, and business partners.
